Bottle tree, a spindle tree originating in South America, also known as wine bottle tree, Buddha belly tree and radish tree, belongs to Kapok family. Its shape is similar to that of this plant. It is caused by the same adaptation of different plants in similar ecological environment. The spindle tree grows on the plateau of South America. It looks like a giant spindle in the field.
